GIRLS.. why would you be polite and focused on being polite when meeting new people?

In reality most girls are big mouths, mean, sarcastic, and more yet it's funny how when they first meet people they are nice and polite and FAKE AF. So why are girls these hypocritical people hiding behind masks?

Because filtering your thoughts and words on your surroundings is normal.

Are you just an unfiltered asshole all the time, or do you change how you speak when you talk to kids/family/etc.

Having different sides of yourself that you show only to select people is normal, not fake or two faced.

If you notice people act exceedingly polite around you, but aren't normally, the reason is more likely to be YOU than you think. When someone is obviously unstable and dangerous, it's kinda natural to talk on egg shells around him.

maybe it’s just because of my age and the fact that I’m in classes with the nerdier bunch, but a lot of the girls I’ve met are genuinely good people. I’ve found that the loud minority — in this case, cruel women who hide behind a facade when you first meet them — are the ones that have the most power, since we tend to focus on the bad.

but to answer your question, I personally believe they do so because the person they’re talking to is a stranger. this means they have the opportunity to create or further enforce a positive social image.
