What is a mentor for, and what do you expect of a mentor?

Everyone should have a mentor... If you don't you're pretty much gonna lose most of the time. People think they are successful because they went to school or own a business but they aren't even earning 7 figures. Earning 6 figures is so easy it's a joke. You can make it hard or easy though. If you don't have a mentor show you the way you will believe what I am saying is crazy. Why spend decades trying to get to where you want when it can take months or a year with a mentor.

Prostitution is not what I'm talking about. I dislike prostitution and all forms of it, even internet prostitution. Don't get me started.

The standard answer is an older more experienced person that can help you get ahead in your career. By the time I started my career I was really too old to have a mentor but I did know somebody that I really admired.

In music and medicine, that term is used for a person who is a de facto teacher or benefactor. "an experienced and trusted adviser.".

I just Googled it and found out what that means. I was not familiar with that term regarding sugar babies, as I haven’t really been interested in that and have never looked up.

I guess those women or men are looking for being improved career wise. They are free to search for whatever they like, I am not judging.

There was one boy in childhood, 4 years older than me and my cousins. We always had a crush on him when we were 8-12. My cousin ended up falling for him and he told her he loved her too before he joined army.

When he returned from army and my cousin thought they’d be together, that guy instead married a successful 55 year old woman. And that woman was very successful and helped him develop career wise as well. I guess he was a sugar baby and she was a mentor.

As for this guy, he was 23 at that time, he chose 55 year old rich and successful woman over my super pretty and a smart cousin (The one I mentioned to you, she’s also neuropsychologist).

They are still married and that guy, hasn’t read a single book in his life nor has ever studied a single thing and still managed to become quite successful thanks to that woman.

It’s not only women… Who choose money and success over anything else.

Men can do the same too.

That's an incorrect term that women use. Mentor is a person who is usually more experienced and reputable person who can advise you how to do things whether in professional domain or in relationships or sports, etc. Its someone from who you take advice for granted and never argue with. Basically is a Sensei.

someone whom is ahead of me, knows how to "cut to the chase" so that I can learn something quickly and the right way. I much prefer that to slow classroom learning.

If I had had a sugar momma counselor back when I was oh say, 14, would have cleared a lot of roadblocks.
