- do you know after the first date whether you still want to pursue a guy

- if a guy asks you out on a date months or weeks before and you finally meet weeks or months later, is that a sign of lost interest and only meeting him as a pity meet up?

I don’t understand the second question, but I wouldn’t go on a date with anyone out of pity. If I lost interest then I would cancel the date, wish them the best and then cut off contact.

Ok the second part was related to me because I met this girl online back in Feb 2023, lives in the same city, she wanted to meet I think in early June but I couldn't, then she couldn't, summer went by, Im meeting her in Oct after 8 months. Im surprised she still wants to meet because I assumed she lost interest and didn't care.
