There is so much I want to do but... how do manage bills and life?

We all live. I unfortunately never really go out or partied I was more focused on my career and money more than getting pissed drunk like most young women and guys my age. So I have a house and a mortgage I am tied down I want to explore and see the world but money bills etc... I think I grew up too fast for my own good but I can say I am better off now than the girls and boys who spent their money drunk and stoned... they are still in school and in debt.

Yeah dude, that's totally understandable. It sucks feeling trapped when you wanna go live it up a bit after working so hard. But it sounds like you've set yourself up pretty well in the long run too. Here are a few ideas that might help:

- Rent out your place when you travel to help cover the mortgage. Airbnb is perfect for short trips.

- Look for remote work you can do from wherever. Keep the career ball rolling while exploring.

- Plan budget trips. Check Groupon, look for flight deals, stay in cheap hostels, etc. It adds up to make stuff way more affordable.

- Do working vacations. Help out at farms/ranches for low rent in exchange. Good way to meet people too.

- Take one small trip at a time. Even a weekend road trip is better than nothing!

Baby steps, my dude. You earned the ability to have some fun now while still being financially smart. Just takes some planning. Your friends will be paying off debt for years - you've got freedom ahead.

Here's the difference: in 10 years, you'll be able to take nice vacations and do fun things and not be in debt, while those people will be where you are today: just getting into their first house, be absolutely drowning in debt, and feeling like it will be forever before they do anything fun again.

Life is definitely a trade-off - you can't have it all - but in the long run, you'll be better off than most of them EVER will be.

Set aside a certain amount of money every month toward your travel goals. Keep doing so until you can afford to go where you want.
