Why do girls do that?

I'm a single 30 year old guy with two guinea pigs as pets lol. I know that's not common. When I tell guys, they are just like oh, or may think its odd, etc. Which is fine I get it. But when I tell girls they are usually like that's cute or you're really cool, etc. They seem interested in it, more than guys who have dogs and all. Why is that? Just curious.

It would be unusual for a guy to say "How cute!" Girls, on the other hand, love cuteness and are not shy about acknowledging it.

And while guys might not be impressed by Guinea pigs, they are the kind of animals that most girls would find cuddly and adorable.

I think so. Plus, girls might think a guy who loves and cares for cute, small animals has nurturing qualities.

Because its unexpected for a man to own cute pocket pets like that just like it would be odd for a woman to own a bunch of reptiles. However at the end of the day, it’s not odd for either gender it’s just stereotypes. All pets are great and show love in different ways.

@InsectHusk I'm talking about when girls say it. Like I'm not saying they are going to be so into me because of that but it just gives off an attractive personality and all of that makes sense

probably just more of the common demographic for guinea pigs will be a stereotype of parents with the piggies being more for the kids.
