We've known eachother for 7 years. I won't hide it, I've been extremely attracted to her both physically and emotionally for all this time.
We've had our moments , but I guess the distance prevented anything. We've both had separate relationships and I guess it never worked out.
She invited me over to this big work do over the weekend. She was wearing this lovely red thigh length dress, by a country mile the most beautiful woman there.
All her friends and work mates know me apparently, though I've never met any of them ever.
Anyway, one of her close friends came up to me during the night and said "You have no idea how often she talks about you... all the time".
That's stuck with me since I got back home.
What the hell do I do?

Why don’t you go ahead and if you haven’t already, try to become closer with her and make sure to keep communication as much as possible without coming off too desperate. If you don’t feel comfortable just asking her out, then start to casually flirt or make it known that you like her. Give her meaningful compliments and bring up little details she mentioned before. She’ll notice the little things like that and appreciate them. I’m not informed on everything about how close you are, but if you two are close in your eyes you have a good chance of being important to her. So just start something wherever your comfort level is and go from there. Good luck dude!
What is so hard about this?
Approach, talk to her. Not complicated at all.
The distance (!!!) That's what makes this so damn hard.
We see eachother maybe 3 to 5 times a year...
You know what to do. Now do it.
