Me and my Best friend have been friends for over two years. We definitely have grown apart but somehow manage to get back to where we were.
Recently however, she has introduced me to one of her friends, and I finally was happy to have a friend group. I decided to plan some girls night. The first one went horribly wrong, where my best friend got upset didn’t tell us why even though we had asked a bunch of times. Second time the same thing happen, she starts to get upset and doesn’t tell us even thought we’ve asked a bunch times. Third time we changed it up and wanted to go to the other friends house. Long story short I said I wasn’t feel up for it but got persuaded to come as my best friend at the time had invited two strangers into her other friends house. I’m assuming that the other friend told my best friend who then decided to have a go at me over the phone calling me a bad friend, and I was trying to calm the situation down
She proceeds to say I’m a bad friend and that I shouldn’t have treated HER friend like that, but I did absolutely nothing and when I asked what I had done wrong she said I was just horrible to her. At the end of the night I did my best to just be calm and let her have it and she called me the dick. I thought she might’ve tried to get a reaction.
After two days she msgs me telling me to meet up and chat, she expected me to be sorry and apologise and I even told her that she had no right to have an out of proportion conversation with me over the phone without me knowing what I did. She told me that her and her other friend made plans I somehow got in between that, which to this day I don’t think is true. The other friend does think she may be jealous of us being able to talk and hangout. Yet she’s denied it, but used the “she was my friend first”.
I asked for space from both and had gotten a message from the best friend. I replied and she used the “it should only take one second to reply”
I have a full time job and don’t finish till 5pm
