Should I reach out to her?

Last week I was working, and met a cute girl. We hung out all day for work, and met up at night for work as well. She was telling me her weekend plans of having wisdom teeth removed, and just basic stuff! She seemed really cool, so I added her on FB. Now, I haven’t had to work that job, and she may not be working this next shift, but with her added, I was wondering if I should reach out to her and initiate conversation, or should I wait for her to message me?

I found she is 5 years younger than me, which isn’t a biggie, but also something I figured I’d mention so all details are presented. Should I go for it, or not?

Eh, I'd say go for it man. You got nothing to lose by reaching out, and maybe something to gain if she's open to hanging out again. Here's what I'd do:

Send her a casual message on FB like "Hey, hope your wisdom teeth healing is going well! Just wanted to see how you were doing." That shows you're thinking of her without being too strong.

If she engages back positively, you can then suggest doing something lowkey like grabbing coffee to catch up. Make it very clear it's casual and see how she feels.

The 5 year difference isn't huge at your ages, but I wouldn't bring it up or make a big deal of it. Just let her see you as the cool chill dude she connected with at work.

Worst case she's not interested and doesn't reply much - but at least you tried! And who knows, she may be open to hanging as friends first and seeing where it goes. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take and all that. Go for it man!

Absolutely go for it. Sounds like things started off well. She might like someone to text or chat with after she gets her wisdom teeth out. That is usually two or three days of sitting around feeling like crap. Perfect time to have someone to talk to. I wouldn't wait because she may not make the first move. Then all you have is a wasted opportunity. When you think you have something you need to go for it. There is nothing that you wrote that indicates she wouldn't be open to at the very least talking and getting to know you.
