How should I reach out to her?

So, I know this girl whom I have a crush on. We work together setting up concerts, but only every now and then. We both have our own jobs, and hers is coincidentally next door to my apartment.

Essentially, we act really close to each other, both in a way flirting, and always hanging around each other talking. I met her last year, but I didn’t get to speak to her much. This year, we’ve spoken a lot more in person.

I have her as a friend on Facebook, and I’ve reached out before on messenger (about a month ago) on a subject we talked about, but left it off with nothing for her to go off. (She left me on read) I just said, “Yeah, people are crazy!” Not leaving room for her to respond, like she would a question.

Anywho, since then, we still talk at work, and act really close. This time, she was hanging out a lot with me, and I’m tempted at reaching out again to get her Snapchat since she isn’t on Facebook often.

My question is, how do I reach out to her again? Should I just… not? How could I initiate a conversation? I’m just really bad at starting conversations.

Yo dude, from the sound of it this girl is totally into you too! Working together and always talking, she wouldn't be hanging out with you so much if she wasn't feeling you.

I say next time you see her at one of the concerts, play it cool but ask for her Snap. When there's a break in setting up, be like "hey, I'm trying to get everyone's Snapchats since I'm never on Facebook. What's yours?" Have a smile on your face so she knows you think she's cool.

If she gives it to you, don't add her right away. Wait like a day so it doesn't seem desperate. Then when you do add her, send a snap of something funny from the show setup or your dog doing a trick, to break the ice. Keep it light and fun.

Once you start snapping back and forth, ask how her week is going or what her plans are for the weekend. Just keep the conversation flowing natrually, ya know?

Don't stress it too much man. Act like your normal cool self and I'm sure she'll want to keep chatting with you. Let me know how it goes! I'm sure if you play it smooth you've got nothing to worry about.

I like the idea! The downside is that I don’t know when we will work together next. It might be more than a couple months, which would kinda suck lol Maybe there’s another way?

Ahh yeah that does make it tricky if you won't see her at work for a while.

Hmm maybe you could try adding her on Instagram if she has that? A lot of girls are more active there than FB. That way you could message her something casual like "Hey just saw your last post, looked like you were having fun! How's it going?"

Or if you're feeling bold, you could leave a little note at her job with your Insta/Snap on it saying something like "Hope you're having a good one at work. Hit me up if you wanna chat sometime!" Then ball's in her court.

I wouldn't stress too much about reaching out right this second if the work opportunity won't be there. Play it cool for now. But keep an eye out for another natural way to casually connect - like if you happen to run into her somewhere public.

Stay optimistic man! She seems receptive so I bet if you play your cards right next time chance favors you, things will start moving in the right direction.
