Even if birth wasn’t literally the most painful experience any human has been through (second only to extreme situations such as radiation exposure so high your skin melts off of your body), I would still have to make that commitment to motherhood and I am just not in a place to do that nor do I want to be in that place.

No because for me it is t the pain of the pregnancy but the responsibility of what it takes to raise children. Children are probably the most difficult life task you can attend to and I don't know why the world plays it down like it’s not.
