a coworker who is a guy told me to come outside with him and 2 other girl coworkers. I an attracted to one of them and i was nervous walking and talking to her. We never took a walk together. My guy coworker was walking with the other girl, and i was walking next to the girl i like behind the other coworkers. I was really nervous and couldnt even walk with my head up. The 3 of them were talking openly while i was quiet. The one i like tried including me into convos

at some point my guy coworker said “why did you take a leave today? Where did you go?” I said “my sister is going to canads in a few days so i spent some time with her at (mall name)” the girl i am attracted to said “i have been in this city for a year and never went to that place”. I kept quiet

was she hinting something or am i hoping too much?

It's hard to say for sure man, but it seems like maybe she was interested in getting to know you better. A few things that stand out:

- She made an effort to include you in conversations even though you were quiet, showing she wanted you to open up.

- Commenting specifically about never going to that mall you mentioned is like an opening to invite her there or talk more1

- Why else would she single your comment out like that instead of just letting the convo keep going? Seems like an icebreaker.

My advice would be, next time you get a chance to talk one-on-one, reference that conversation and be like "We should check out that mall some time, I can show you around" or something chill like that.

Gauge her response. If she seems into it, maybe you've got a shot. But play it cool man, don't come on too strong. Keep things light and see where it leads.

Never know till you make a move! But don't psyche yourself out either. Just be yourself - if she likes you, she likes you.
