Why would my friend offer to test his loyalty?

So I really like this guy, and my friend asked for his snap so she can flirt with him and see if he is "loyal" thou this guy and I aren't even a couple and if we were I wouldn't go for it, I think asking to do that is werid. Why would she even offer that?
