Loyalty he says it matters but does it really?

A handfull of men I come across say they want a woman whos loyal but run when they come across one. Maybe its just me but on more than one occasion i have been told,

i am going through shit right now

Or

i am sorry, i just can't.

Like what the heck. Why do i even continue to be loyal to ones who dont deserve my loyalty at all.

Ok im just put it out there. My ex husband lived a double life he cheated on me with an undercover cop. Yeah i know fucked up. I did know this side of him. As his wife i stood by him that was my job. A year of legal battles with military court and civilian court for him to have the audacity cheat on me. Its like i stayed helped him through it all even put distance between friends and family due to shame and embarrassment for him to cheat on me again.

Well, i was married, and i learned a lot (i wouldn't change what i went through at all). But it has definitely made me more aware of my outlook on love, life, and men. I keep it real. I communicate my standards. I just dont bull shit.
