Girl liking me even though she seems to have a boyfriend. Was it right?

I used to like this girl at the gym. She also liked me back. I caught her staring at me multiple times. She also gave signals that she liked me. This continued about 2 weeks and then one day I found out that she was fighting with a guy in a cafe. I saw her and pretended that I didn't saw her and went home. Next day same I saw her but this time her back was facing me. So I did not initiate anything from my side. But then she also started doing the same thing in the gym. She also talked on the phone with that guy probably her boyfriend. Now really used to like her but now the question arises that if she is flirting with me or anyone while having a boyfriend, she might do the same to me some day. Or is it just that she is not happy with that guy. I started to ignore her completely because I was hurt and I no longer give her any attention. What do you think?

You did act correctly by ignoring her completely and that what you should do in the future also, even if this lady starts talking or interacting with you.

If she has a boyfriend then you do not initiate any contact with her and you take your distance because you don't want to appear as someone that is a homewrecker.

Whatever her reasons are for acting the way she does, you simply ignore her and if she tries to interact with you, you politely tell her that you are not interested and that you will just be civil and courteous to her but nothing more that could give the impression that you are flirting with her.
