I heard this girl likes me but it doesn’t seem like it?

I have heard that this girl likes me from my and her friends. She is extremely shy. I have seen signs she likes me from a couple years ago but in the recent year she is nicer to me than other guys is about the only sign.
The reason I ask this question is cause she never appears to know I exist apart from helping me from time to time. It seems like she glanced over at other guys a lot which I never see her doing with me.

I understand I should ask her like most comments say which I will do next week sometime but what are your thoughts on the stuff I said above 2 paragraphs.

You should ask her out. She is extremly shy. Girls are hestitant to approach guys because they don't want to be seen and labeled as easy or desperate. Also, girls are very scared of rejection. Girls are afraid to show how to they feel about someone because of rejection. Plus she is shy.

If she give you signs of interests or you've heard from your friends and her friends she likes you, what are you waiting for? Ask her out on a date. You know she likes you, so why waiting.

If you didn't know if she likes you, that would be even harder, because you don't know what she feels for you, it would be a risk for you to get rejected.

But you know she like you, ask her out.

It's really hard to know without physically being there and knowing the person. I know it's scary to put yourself out there by just asking but it's better than not knowing...
