Famous quote? Who so famously said that? I have never said that looks don't matter. Of course I have to be physically attracted to someone if I am going to date someone. I think what is being blurred here is the importance of one over the other. Take a really hot guy that is a complete dick. No one will want to date a jerk. Same goes for the guy with the great personality but I don't find him attractive which is so subjective from person to person. So I don't think anyone claims that it is all personality and looks don't matter.

I've never heard/read any women say this. I've heard women say that looks aren't the ONLY or the most important thing that matters, which is very different than saying don't matter at all.

Most women do not say looks don’t matter. We say it’s not the main reason we’d be with a guy. This video is literally teenage girls reacting to a guy they find attractive. Why are you comparing yourself to that?

Looks do matter, for male and female. Never have I or any girl I’ve been around said looks don’t matter. Nor has any man I’ve been around unless their standards were to the ground.

i dont think girls actually say that unless they're unattractive or want to appear so nice. personally i've always said if asked that looks matter, and most girls do to. I don't know where the idea that we dont care comes from. everyone cares about looks, even girls
