There is this girl in my class who I never talked to before but one day she asked for my help on one assignment. Actually it was because her friend asked me first, and I kind of know her friend like we talk sometimes, so it was fine I helped them both. After that the girl messaged me on insta asking if she could have some help for the questions on another assignment. Since it was already due like one month ago and the teacher already marked mine, I felt a bit bad so I shared mine with her. Even after that we never talked in person. Like a week later, she messaged me again asking for another assignment... and I was like kinda annoyed but I send anyways. Now like two weeks later AGAIN she's asking me so I was kinda pissed and responded after a few days like "sorry I haven't finished it yet" cause at that point I didn't wanna talk to her. Some days later she replied like "can you send it when you're finished" but I didn't reply for a few day, just pretend I'm not finished, and few days later since I didn't reply she's like "hello!!".
Seriously, like why is she keep messaging me? The class is pretty chill and she can literally ask the teacher and will get help... Also I'm so confused why does she keep asking me instead of her friends? Like I don't even know her or talk to her but I know she has other friends, its so weird.
I still haven't replied to her last two messages (the "send when your finished" and "hello" ones), and I feel bad for ignoring but also like just wanna be like "why don't you ask your friends" but unfortunately I'm not the confrontational type 🥲. Also the way she types is like were best friends or something... kinda weird too.
Anyways what should I do at this point?

Bro poor girl probably has no friends. Honestly am in her same situation and the guy was so cunning. He sent me partial pictures of his notes. Like u never know what situation they are in
It's true I can't know her real reasons, but I know she has friends in the class and they at least look pretty close. Also the teacher tells her to do her work but she just talks and watches video the whole class. I feel like if she needed a friend she wouldn't just text me and then walk by without looking or talking to me.
She probably finds u to be a nerdy kid who wouldn’t mind academically helping a classmate. Pls don’t be harsh on her. She most probably doesn’t have any friends

Lol I speak to a lot of people. But they are acquaintances, not friends. Honestly u never know. She’s asking u because she has no one else. Think about it
That's the thing tho... she DOES have other people to ask. I'm not even her acquaintance, we've never spoken so its even stranger to ask me. It feels like she's just using my work because she doesn't want to do it herself
She probably just doesn't care about her education. She probably only goes to school, so her family doesn't socially ostracize or disown her.
Just ignore her. She'll get the message
