I'm sure this one girl at work likes me whose my co-worker. But we have a new girl and she's good looking but she came by and stood next to me & the other girl who likes me like pushed in-between us and made that her spot next to me when I moved forward.

She's already claiming me & I thought it was funny. So why is she so territorial?

Haahha it is funny. But also annoying (from my perspective). Not all of us are territorial. I'd never do that and never have (I'm gonna flirt and stuff if I wamt someone or even be direct and ask the person out, for their number or sth else, but I'm never gonna push myself like that nor be territorial about someone I'm with).

That said, all or at least most of us still get cautious and possibly uncomfortable (depending on the situation) if we see a woman traspassing boundaries with our man. Or a woman getting too close, him having a female bff. We just don't do anything specific about it (the mature ones) because we respect the man's autonomy. But we get cautious because we know wome like those in your post exist
