I wouldn't really too much be interested in a woman that read the love novel. Because usually if they just read a love novel and not act the love novel in their relationship. Then what they read is totally pointless. Pretty much what a love novel is is some woman's wet dream. And usually that woman's wet dream is usually the same wet dream that all women have. And, there's a lot of things and information listed in love novel that are not reality that women believe that our reality. But, I would pay more attention to a woman if she would want to write our own love novel with each other, versus read or reply anything from love novel into our relationship. Because, if she's not willing to do that, then she should not be reading that. Because it's pointless. Read about something pointful then if you don't want to do what you're reading about doing in your own relationship. But I would rather find a woman that wants to write our own love novel then read them
I see romance novels the way some women see porn.. As setting unrealistic standards.
Yup, I've been reading them off and on since I was a teen. The sex parts have gotten boring, but i still enjoy one with a good story line. Historicals used to be my favorite, because many actually included accurate historical facts even while making personal lives seem a bit better in the past than they would have been.
Why pay for a romance novel when you can get the same thing by reading some people's opinions and questions here. Some leave nothing to the imagination.

Only books I read was 50 shades of grey to see what all the hype was. And to be honest it was some of the cringiest crap. I read the first 2 books and got bored half way through the third. It was just such phony fantasy sex and in no way was it hot, intresting or relatable 🤣
I read a few when I was a kid, should not have, they were kind of messed up (when you think about it) and I believe the one I remember was problematic. (Joining by Johanna Lindsey)
I read romance books now. (But not like the ones you stereotypically see with those painted covers or half naked people.) Half the time it’s very cringe, and if it has sequel’s they’re usually not as good as the first.
I find it funny that the hero could be jailed for rape of the heroine in about 50% of them.
They are not called bodice rippers for nothing.
A billion dollar rape fetish industry. I just have to be asked is all!
I read smut via tiktok. Never the real full book just the sexy parts
Between 2007-09, these books were my jam. I used to pretty much read from this author called ZANE. Whomever they were, their books were nasstyyyyy 🤤
I was reading naughty books before I even participated.
I apologize as I know this was a question for the ladies, but I haven't read a single romance novel in my life and I have no desire to.
But then again, I'm not really a book reader anyways 😅
Yeah, I tend to like them. I like the mythical ones the most.
Nope, if you have read one you have read all of them.
I really love reading romance novels, it's a bit like being in a movie
Well, as long as you don't apply love doubles to real life, and you apply what you learn and love novels into your relationship where that actually counts.
I used to read quite a lot in years gone by. I don't remember even looking at a book in the last year or so.
From time to time I read novels with some sort of romance in them but definitely not those cringy ones.
Romance novels and movies put me to sleep.
Lol, yeah I bet, cuz women don't know much about romance
That is one fiction world I love so much and every novel must be romance or drama
My sis-in-law does. I thumbed through a couple and have no idea what the attraction is.
I never have, but my grandma had some of those when I was a kid. 😂
I used to, when I was younger
I read one with my name on it. It had my name on the title.
@AmeerX who?
@AmeerX no what's it about?
Really, it's romantic and about a woman named Anna. Actually there are several characters in it. It involves a woman who divorced her husband. And I read it a long time ago. But it's worth reading. I like this character who is a landlord and married his peasant tenant and leads a progressive life.
It's really about the stigmas associated with society and how much women are treated worst as single divorcees with lust devouring the peace of her mind.
You can imagine the novel was written in 19th century Russia and I live in Pakistan and I think the urban society of today is exactly like how he portrayed it in the novel.
It's the greatest work of Leo:). Plus I like the emotions and how he accurately described the ways women are treated sadly for having desires.
@AmeerX I don't like 50 shades of grey.
@AmeerX I've never read 50 shades of Grey either but I heard it's about bondage and torture. That's creepy af.
@AmeerX bondage and BDSM are weird.
@AmeerX yeah wanna know the name of the book I read?
Fabio, now there's a blast from the past!
Nope. It's just porn for women though
It's just another type of porn.
