Am I overthinking this interaction?

I was working the front desk and we have an exercise class that happens twice a week. Two ladies came in for the class and I had them sign their names. As the last one finished she put her pen down and looked at me and as she was walking away she was like “You’re welcome, she’s pretty”. And the friend agreed. I’m confused though because my other coworker was at her desk nearby looking down and they passed her desk. I’m a skeptical and it felt like they were talking about me because I said thank you and laughed but I’m not sure lol. I do get that I’m pretty a lot.

I’m not trying to sound conceited or anything, I just genuinely wanna know if they were talking about me. My friend didn’t acknowledge the compliment so maybe?

Ah man, who knows what older ladies are thinking sometimes! I wouldn't worry too much about reading into it. Maybe they were just being friendly or thought you were cute, who cares?

If they were talking about your coworker I'm sure she would've reacted or something, so chances are they meant you. But it's not like they asked you out, so not a big deal.

Probably wouldn't hurt your ego any to just take the compliment, ya know? I mean hey, if you're good looking own it. Nothing wrong with that.

I wouldn't overthink lady talk - just be your normal friendly self next time they come in. Chances are they'll be chatting with their friend again anyway and forget all about it tomorrow. You're all good luv!

Does it really matter who they were talking about? Do you expect to ever see them again? If you ever do you can ask them. Their reply might be, "Excuse me, but who are you?"
