I have worked with powerful men for years as mid level management.
One when he graduated university was running a 24 million, 67 person staff business as a franchise owner. Never had an issue with him.
My college mentor, who ran 6 businesses at once so making enough money he could retire at 40 & live the life of riley, I never once had an issue with.
A close friend, who has worked executive level management for Amazon, Microsoft AND a few others, I've never had an issue with and so has nobody else.
See this is the thing. Its something called self-respect.
If a woman doesn't act & dress like an unprofessional borderline whore in the workplace, she's not going to be taken advantage of. No different than if you dress & act like a prostitute outside of work, men are going to take advantage.
Biggest joke back in the 1950s and 70s was how women only got somewhere in business or any company was by being on their backs, after all. Don't act the part, you won't become the part.
Heck even when I go to the local Italian cafe where ALL the mega businessmen for the region go - and I mean BIIIIGGGGGG buck business men (e. g. 800 room hotel owners) - I don't get bothered because I dress & act respectfully and I carry myself with confidence.
@PetLover24. Absolutely brilliant post!
its probably because you're ugly
@YouSloppyLady ROFL. I'm actually very attractive, as in a the local mall without dressing like a cheap useless prostitute (typical of today's American whore aka woman) in a stylish dress that shows no extra skin I can turn heads.
@YouSloppyLady Or you a bit too dumb to comprehend that I said multiple women haven't had issues.
Not powerful per say. First job I had was at a coffee shop in Brooklyn. Manager there was a total pig. Can't remember how many times he "accidentally" grazed and cupped my boobs. Made jokes about needing more creamer while holding a cup and gesturing at my chest. Mind you, I was 16. I quit after 2 months.
All's well though. Another girl reported him and now he's a registered offender
Nice to know he is an offender. He got what he deserves. He can now never get a job again, you will never pass an interview if your a registered offender.
What a dirty pig. It’s good he’s a sex offender.
I am sorry you had to go through such a disgusting experience, glad it didn't go further. Hope you are doing okay now
I'm doing quite well actually. That whole thing didn't affect me as much as you'd think. I'm used to getting poked, prodded and grabbed by friends WITH my consent. As for my career, I haven't had any mishaps like that. Sure, I'll get the ocassional flirt from some of the new hires who think a bit much of themselves. But nothing past that
I have a cousin (female) that is 10 Years younger than me. We were close. She liked rock music because of me. She went to Drexel University and go into talent (music) management. She's a senior ready to graduate and her creepy professor tried to leverage his contacts in the industry for sex. She totally blows him the fuck off (good girl) half a year into being black balled she tells me at my friends wedding (she was invited cuz she's cool as fuck and all my friends love my cousins) what a coincidence. My friend the groom is now a lawyer with lots of connections in academia in the Philly area. Long story short he resigned in disgrace. She got a decent settlement and a job in the industry from someone in California from someone that went to school at Drexal and suspected and hated the professor simply because she took him down.
Doubtless- the odds that ALL of the accusations are false are almost as low as those that ALL of them are true. The problem is the total lack of due process; accusation equaling guilt.
McCarthyism at its finest.

Absolutely there has been sexual harassment and r*pe from powerful men against those under them. Women are more agreeable than men, and weaker than men, so there is less of a "fight back" instinct in us because that could lead to getting hurt worse or killed (thanks millions of years of evolution).
But that being said, women are also social creatures while men are action creatures. When men have a problem with each other, they push each other a little, maybe throw a punch, then shake on it and go get drinks. When women have a problem with each other, they smear reputations and try to ostracize the target of their hatred.
So I want you to think for a minute what the #metoo movement did. Did it lead to a bunch of lawsuits that meaningfully brought justice to r*pists after they were legally convicted of horrific crime? Or did it just publicly shame and exile certain men who were completely unable to defend themselves against the court of public opinion? I mostly saw the later.
Yeah, there's a reason why the casting couch is a trope. Women know they can get a lot with their bodies. And I find it despicable that women who would use their bodies to get high-paid roles in companies and especially in Hollywood, would then turn around and use their actions as a way to attack guys that they don't like.
Yes, at the age of 21, and me weighing about 230 pounds. Literally looking like this 👇

A male supervisor, clearly over the age of 55, he was Indian from India. Spoke terrible English. Kinda looked like this 👇

He decided to grab my hand outta nowhere at work. And I couldn’t argue him cause he was my superior.
This hand grabbing thing went on for 3 months it’s stopped when I said I had a boyfriend. And after a year of me working there it started again.
Out of nowhere, without thinking twice he’d just grab my tiny, white, fat, hand. At work. He’d follow me to catch me alone somewhere at work, to do this.
And finally one day he went into a company vehicle with me and he forced me to tell him about my sexual life and my sexual past. After that me alongside everyone in that building who I was friends with, we all got him fired and we all had separate meetings with HR, to make sure he leaves. AND WE WON 🙌, he was fired.
After 6 months. He showed up working somewhere near our job all over again. But no one could do anything now cause he wasn’t with our company. 😬😬😬
Some corrupt politicians (big shots and nobodies) attempted to lure me into their stupid games.
Unfortunately, they picked on the wrong woman to try their muscle on.
They definitely lost much more than they anticipated.
@AngryCarl
Of course, there is.
Wait for my novel or the movie. ;)
I once had sex with my boss but I don't think I'm part of the me too because he was sexy as hell and it was hot doing it on his desk and I never wanted anything from him so my feelings never came into play and we worked together for 10 years I stopped having sex with him when I met someone so that was that
No I don't generally hang around rich powerful men. Sure I been harassed here and there over the years but never to the point it affected my life.
Not powerful men but I've been sexually harassed many times.
Thats because you look good. I am sorry to hear that. I have been harassed a few times too.
Thank you lol.
Sadly people's looks shouldn't make others sexually harass or assault them. We all should have basic self control.
or assholes need to be registered sex offenders. Once that happens you will never get a job again.
Or the only job they can get is tracking down other sex offenders online for the government.
Men should learn that, and it should be taught as a component of sex education. Giving/receiving consent for sexual activity should also be taught. I know that’s a pipe dream because stupid ass Republicans are against anything that helps society become safer and more literate.
I mean it's crazy but I've seen men grapple with the concept of consent more than anything else. Like they can't figure it out. I see questions on here where guys just do not understand what consensual is.
I think because our society is so deeply patriarchal men can easily get the idea their sexual advances would never be unwanted. In effect, human males think they’re owed sex from women.
Yeah narcissism and entitlement have a lot to do with it. Doesn't help you have a president that says assaulting women is normal or andrew tate spreading it also to young men. They're raised disrespecting women.
what exactly did Andrew Tate teach? I don't know why people dislike him as I never watched him.
He teaches that men will always be better than women and women are naturally beneath men. A woman's sole position in this world is to prop up men and support men.
He also teaches that women are all the same and we are all golddiggers and entitled and don't deserve respect.
You can Google Andrew Tate mysoginy and you'll see all kinds of awful shit he's said about us.
I agree with you, him and Jordan Peterson are two of the cringiest slime balls. They influence young men to be toxic and to disrespect women.
There are men that just don't believe the genders are equal. They believe in supremacy not equality. They don't want to share power.
A society where women have power and influence, isn’t a bad thing. It’s usually more peaceful and it is sex positive and sexier.
There are examples of Matriarchal societies that have proven to be better in terms of sexual equality and opportunity
The thing is we don't want to be in charge. We want to be viewed as equals and respected as such. That's all. We don't want to be queens and rule we just want to sit at the same table. But that's too much to stomach apparently.
No, I don’t think that a matriarchal society is the answer, it’s just an observation. I think men fear losing control because they mistakenly believe women are less sexual, so women in power will naturally do away with sex. Of course that is nonsense, women are very sexual. I suspect that if women have more control men and women will have more frequent and better quality sex.
Well what's weird is a lot of these redpill manosphere guys don't even like when women are sexual. They think it's low value and slutty. They think only men should be sexual. It's a masculine trait to them. I've had guys tell me I'm not feminine because I'm just as sexual as men are. They thought I was too masculine haha. Fucking ridiculous
Yeah a lot of guys still believe that persistence despite them saying no is to be rewarded. or even that 'no means yes' in some cases still.
No means yes is rapey as fuck lol
It goes back to the Victorian era, it was thought “well bred” women should not exhibit sexual behaviour whatsoever. Only “dark” women had those ungodly qualities.
That is the bullshit they believed and much of that is still alive and well in American society today.
Then get mad when they don't get sex. Can't have your cake and eat it too. No such thing as a virgin pornstar.

This was about 9 years ago but still pretty relevant. A lot of dudes still think you should be able to just demand sex whenever you feel like in a relationship despite how she feels about it and the main takeaway here is he says 'no means yes if you know how to spot it.'
Honestly these dudes probably miss the days when you could just rape your wife and it was completely legal to do so.
oh and if anyone around you says Rush Limbaugh is their hero should raise huge red flags about them lol.
They want complete sexual power over a woman I think. The idea of a sexual experience being mutually pleasurable is not fathomable to men like them.
Oh they absolutely would rape if they wouldn't get in trouble for it. Most of the incel and redpill manosphere guys don't have empathy for women at all.
They view us as sex toys with a pulse. That's it. If they could get away with it they'd rape for sure.
No question about that, if the former president brags about touching women’s vaginas without consent it’s not had to believe men like this are rapists in waiting
Not to mention being accused by multiple women of the same thing he bragged about. Not really locker room talk after all.
@Notherndude84 Jordan Peterson is a moron. I have no knowledge of Andrew Tate.
LOTS of women have been #metoo victimized by powerful men.
I've seen it happen. I think movements like this can be dangerous and misused poorly too tho.
