It’s funny, my lady always laughs at me, because when I guess who might be a good looking guy to women, she’s always like “ewwww, nooooo, he’s too pretty.” She says she thinks it’s because I’m straight and they look the most like a woman, lmao. Then dudes women like, I’m like “REALLY?” Or at least I’ll be surprised that they’d prefer them over the pretty guys. But many women I think are more attracted to rugged masculinity. My lady likes that Jason Momoa guy, just a big burly motherfucker…. yet she hates beards, so I don’t even know what she’s thinking, lmao.
I remember when I was growing up, the guys I envied and wished I looked like were definitely pretty-boys. Zack Morris from Saved By The Bell; 21 Jump Street-era Johnny Depp; John Stamos from Full House; Jared Leto from My So-Called Life; dudes of that ilk. All handsome dudes, but none them really exude that ruggedness a lot of women seem to be after…. but they would still be on the covers of all the magazines targeting pre-teen and teenage girls, so….🤷♂️ Holy smokes, I can’t believe I still managed to pull chicks in high school with women knowing Jared Leto existed😂 Every chick wanted “Jordan Catalano”, haha
BUT….. I got some questions about Gen Z. My lady and I tried to watch Riverdale when that came out years back, just because I loved Archie Comics when I was little. The kid they got to play Archie is indisputably a stud…. and my girlfriend and I were STUNNED to learn that the heartthrob of the show to younger generations was the kid who played Jughead. JUGHEAD. All the teenage girls online were absolutely clamoring for this pasty, skinny little bitch of a dude.

If you look very carefully though and study the anatomical differences between men and women, even these pretty boy types tend to have some distinctive masculine features despite their somewhat androgynous look. Included tend to be chiseled jawline from a larger mandible, fairly prominent brow ridge, flatter forehead (women have more rounded frontal bones of the skull that slope at a steeper angle), straighter eyebrows closer to the eyes, narrower eye slits, etc.
Not really. The guy in the pictures looks boyish, not feminine. It's mostly going to be girls who perceive him to be around their age who find him attractive. I probably would have found him attractive when I was in my teens, but now he just looks young. Not unattractive, not girly, just too young for my taste.

I think it's teens who have crushes on cute, young movie idols and boy band types.
But they usually grow out of it. And there are also a lot of young women who are attracted to grown men.
I think the majority of women prefer men and not boys.
Bishonen is very popular in asia, while in the west hunk is the standard of male beauty.
Yes some women do, but I cannot and will not speak for the majority of women. I personally like pretty boys because I find them beautiful to look at. I like beauty and beautiful things.
Masculine looking guys are usually more handsome and rough around the edges, while pretty boys are more beautiful and clean cut. I prefer the beautiful type and I can't explain why.
I don't consider them feminine, just youthful and handsome. Older women are usually more drawn to the rugged type.
