Anonymous(18-24)+1 yshyness is just a role I put on myself , it's just an excuse to justify my fear from the possibility of people judging me , once I let go of this role/false personality , I became more confident

I can be all three, depending on the situation or who is present.
I am confident and shy. I find myself acting shy when someone isn’t actually a match to my character or someone I wouldn’t want to be around. They are bullies, deceptive, rude, manipulative, loud, ignorant. When they are loud, they usually rally a whole group against you/me, you see through them but you’re just observing them.- Their characters are trash, and I just don’t want to stoop to their level.
- I’m too confident to prove myself they’re wrong about me.
Unfortunately; those always think I’m an easy target.
Weakness; to my character is:
Once they cross certain boundaries, I assertively restraint them, or speak up. They already have too much leverage, and the flock of sheep that follow them are many. Not many in their common sense to see the big picture!
At that point you look at them like monkeys in zoos; I visualize them like I’m standing behind a glass watching them doing what they do best.
My character is only a weakness when I’m around the wrong mindset of people.
I am confident and bold, when I find myself around people who are opposite of all these traits I mentioned above to an extent. These negative traits can revert positively if use in a preceptive manner. Only smart and intelligent people might pay attention to all these little details, and people who are not easily conformed from others point of views, people who make decisions from their own critical analyses. People who are open-minded, don’t hold grudges, because they understand we’re all human, not perfect, and we gotta live life. Focussing on negativity won’t make life worth living, and have a free, compassionate spirit is essential.
Nevertheless, I am bold and confident respectfully to similar and relax people. I am also bold and confident, open, when I’m right or defending for the greater good.
I am shy and bold of you think if you think, you can intimidate me and physically hurt me, then I won’t know how to use reasonable force in self-defence. I’m shy, I don’t speak-up, I’m quiet, I don’t make threats, I become calm, just to watch you being overly confident.
PS: Anyway just low tolerance for BS and don’t a give a damn attitude, you feel me lol. Anyway I can’t be serious 100% it’s boring!17 Reply- +1 y

+1 yI'm backed off, not social, not really shy, just my social skills don't match society's standard :D
but I put a lot of effort into getting to know people. I have created friendships, mainly with men and mainly because they put a lot of effort into it, too :D
it's hard to leave your comfort zone, but there is no other choice. Good luck20 Reply
+1 yI used to be like you but I got over it. At some point I realized it was an obstacle to my goals.
I lost virginity to an overfly forward girl in uni at a party who sat on my lap and wanted to drink shots together (first time also drinking alcohol seriously for me) and then made out with me. I actually really liked her in spite of her tats and tramp stamp but she only wanted to hook-up.
After that I was so disappointed but I didn't want to wait around and just twiddle my thumbs and hope a girl makes the move again, especially if she only wanted to hook up.
So I got over the shyness. Shyness is bullshit. Everyone wants to call it some character trait, assign it some endearing way of looking at it like it's your personality. To me it's as much a part of your personality as being an asshole. You can get over it.
It takes some practice but stop this bullshit that you are stuck with it. That will prevent you from ever working on it.

Yep it just takes some thinking and working out
+1 yI've learned how to put the introversion on a shelf when I'm out of the house. Yes, I hate people. Yes, I can strum up a conversation with anyone about anything without much effort. Small talk comes very naturally to me ig. So bold and confident

With the job we do it attracts Alpa men & women.
I also work on the safety team at a major road course, and most people there tend to be the alphas of the alphas.
Nothing like being a few feet away from a whole bunch of cars going past you at 100+ depending where you are on track.00 Reply751 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. Bold and confident. If it's a situation where I'm really not used to it or don't feel very good about the people, I can be somewhat shy. Otherwise I'm bold and confident, yeah.

+1 yI don't really think about it. I don't get shy at all, so I suppose by way of elimination I must be confident.
10 Reply I wouldn't say I'm shy as in timid. But I tend to be the more quiet type.
