Is my best friend falling in love?

My best friend calls me 'beb,' 'hun,' and 'babe,' even though we're not dating. Once, I posted a meme saying that a friend who can't kiss you is a fake friend. Jokingly, I asked her for a kiss, and she reluctantly gave me a 5-minute kiss. Does this mean she's in love with me, or is she just being overly friendly?

If the kiss was reluctant, then obviously she is not in love with you but she felt obliged to comply with your request. Don't overthink it because there is nothing to overthink.

She calls you with pet names because nowadays, everyone does it and again, it does not mean anything.

She is simply friendly but the real question is actually. Are you in love with her or at least, do you have a crush on her and you would like her to reciprocate?

Often, people will try to make it sound like someone is in love with them whereas it is actually the other person that has feelings.

That doesn't sound friend like to me, but maybe she is okay with that sort of thing. I don't think that means she loves you though lol.

Maybe she is looking for a chance to push that friendship into a relationship.

A lot of people use those words around friends. I wouldn't read too much into it.
