If a girl is done with you and wants nothing to do with you, why does she follow you back on social media?

I’ve only removed 3 people from my friends list in the last 30 years. One wanted to be removed, one poised a danger to me, one hated me with a passion and used their association with me to spy on me. I thought they removed me so did not bother to remove them but once I realized they had been on my list after our disagreement, I removed them.

Interesting. Maybe she doesn't want to chit chat as of now. But following you back could be someone who wants to be nosey or a little interested in what you got going on or even might miss you a little bit. But if she didn't reply back I guess she's not interested

I understand. If she would've texted back and said she wasn't interested I would've been cool with that. I think ignoring someone is an immature thing to do. It feels very awkward now seeing her post on social media knowing she ignored my text. I know she isn't obligated to respond but that was a bad way to go about it in my opinion.

You made some great points. Sometimes I get overly emotional and I overthink a lot. It doesn't affect me as much, but when I have downtime I think about it a lot. I didn't apologize to her because I wanted to do it in person. The plan was to engage in a little conversation before asking to meet up in person. Sometimes the way I talk and word things it could easily be misconstrued.

If she wasn't over it I don't think she would've followed me back or answered a couple of my DMs. Like you mentioned earlier she just isn't interested hence why she didn't respond to text.
