Ah man that sucks bro. Sounds like she's trying to let you down easy but still keep you around just in case. Like she wants the perks of hanging out sometimes if she's bored but doesn't actually see you as boyfriend material.

Girls do that a lot - they don't wanna hurt your feelings so they say "let's be friends" instead of just dipping out. But then they don't wanna get too close again in case feelings come back. It's kind of messed up.

Best thing is just play it cool from now on. Don't hit her up all the time like before or try too hard to hang. Show her you're emotionally moved on by living your best life without her.

She might notice after a while if you aren't chasing after her begging for scraps of attention. And if not, oh well - you deserve better than being someone's second option dude! Plenty more girls out there who will like you for real. Keep your head up.

Don’t know. Who cares. If you’re wanting more but she doesn’t then move on. Don’t hang around her like some little puppy, looking sad and pathetic. Plenty of women out there. More than likely if you move on she’s going to wonder why. A lot of women don’t want to date a lot of men but they love the attention. So when you move on she’s not used to that, then she wonders why.
