Girls, How long does it take you to really like a guy?

I never gave it a thought but knowing myself and how thorough I am with everything I do, it would probably take 1-2 years.

The reason being that people seldom tell the entire truth about themselves. Who will say upfront that they have a sexual criminal record, that they have addictions, that they are players or that they are fundamentally toxic? Right nobody will.

It takes a long time to investigate that person even with all the social media available for background checks. I would need to make a thorough check on that potential person in order to ensure that I am not falling into the trap of people purposely hiding everything.

so what if you were talking to a guy for 10 months that you met on social media or a dating app, you give him your number, you're talking on the phone here and there, texting and you even go on a date with him and the date goes well. If he's looking for something serious after 10 months but you're undecided and talking to other guys, does that mean you need more time knowing him? Because my thing is this as a guy, you said 1-2 years, however, guys know that girls probably talk to 5-10 guys on the side and the hotter the girl the more guys who hit her up on DM's & etc. It's not fair to the guy if he waits 1-2 years and he's like where is this going? And you say what do you mean we're talking or you might have more interest in another guy if that's the case then one of those guys won't like waiting around for 2 years. I know this may seem cold or harsh but the fact of reality is this, a guy or girl, man or woman won't truly know each other when they are tested, married and have bills to pay for. When things get tight, if God forbid someone loses their job, how do people face situations with adversity, staying calm. A lot of people can show face for 2 years but living with that person is a whole different ball game.

Thankfully I have no social media and I am not active on dating applications because we all know that those dating applications are actually nothing but hookup sites in disguise where people seek someone to fornicate with.

Now if a person, whether girl or guy, is not capable or willing to wait those 2 years, then it is obvious that there they are not serious about getting into a potential long term relationship but are only out on there solely to fornicate.

With me its not just about sex, my thinking is if I wasted two years of my life only for a girl to say ohhh there's another guy im talking to, a girl won't care if he spent 1 to 2 years showing boyfriend qualities.
