Girl that I have been seeing off and on says I'm acting strange?

I asked her to call me to explain what happened to something she was asking me a ton of questions about. So I said I can explain what happened over the phone. I asked her to call me after she gets out of work. She says ok, about 3 hours pass and I see she has been online the whole time. So I sent her a message and said, "Hey you know what forget it, I'm retracting the offer =)" She immediately responds and says sorry I was busy but sorry thank you. About an hour later or she makes it so i can't see her profile pic or when she sees my messages, and hides her Status, this is on whatsapp. A week goes by and she reaches out to my friend saying I haven't talked to me because he's been acting strange. It's been a month now since this happened. She hasn't blocked me, my messages go through, but doesn't respond. What happened?

Dude that is straight up weird behavior from her. A few possibilities I see:

- She could have been self-conscious about whatever you were gonna say on the phone and made a lame excuse to avoid it.

- Messaging back so quick after you retracted your offer makes me think she was waiting on you to reach out again. Playing games maybe?

- The whole hiding her status and profile pic is dramatic - is she trying to make you chase her now or something? Yikes.

- Reaching out to your friend instead of you directly is lame too. Seems like she wants attention but isn't willing to communicate properly.

My advice would be to leave the ball in her court from now on. You tried explaining and she flaked multiple times. Don't double text or chase - the lack of response speaks volumes.

If she gets back to you, be casual but stand your ground. Like "Sorry you were busy but seemed like you didn't actually wanna talk. Hit me up if you change your mind." Make her work for it now bro.

Don't stress too much either way - this one might not be worth it if the games have already started. You've got way better options my man!

No prob man, just trying to give you a fresh perspective since you're obviously stressing about it. Chasing her will definitely make you seem "weird" in her eyes for sure. Gotta play it cool, even if it's killing you not knowing what's up!

For sure, giving her space is the move here. If she's feeling off but still talking to your friend, shows she doesn't totally hate you. But smothering her now will blow it for sure. Let some time pass so she misses chatting with you a bit, ya know?

Maybe take your mind off it by hitting the gym, ballin with the guys, getting after some other prospects too - that'll make her wonder what YOU'VE been up to. But don't make it obvious that's what you're doing! just play it natural.

Thanks man yeah it's been on my mind so you're right thanks. That's what I've been trying to do to take my mind of her. Sometimes it works really well. So days it doesn't like when I posted this and today. But I'm just going to let her come to me. I saw her today in person! She looked down when she saw me and didn't say anything, I just looked in her direction and kept moving. So weird man yeah. She normally takes the bus but someone picked her up from work it looks like.

It was so hard to sit there and act dumb or not care but I had to do it like you said. Whoa dude, that whole situation is beyond strange. She was DEFINITELY trying to play you by pretending to look at that ATM for no reason. Girls always be pulling weird stunts like that when they're up to something!

I totally know what you mean about it being hard to act all calm and chill in the moment. Takes some real willpower not to call her out. But seriously, you holding your composure is probably messing with her head so much. She was probably dying for you to say something or get all jealous so she could have the power again.
