She says I'm acting strange? Why?

So there is this girl I asked her to call me to explain what happened to something she was asking me a ton of questions about. So I said I can explain what happened over the phone. I asked her to call me after she gets out of work. She says ok, about 3 hours pass and I see she has been online the whole time. So I sent her a message and said, "Hey you know what forget it, I'm retracting the offer =)" She immediately responds and says sorry I was busy but sorry thank you. About an hour later or she makes it so i can't see her profile pic or when she sees my messages, and hides her Status, this is on whatsapp. A week goes by and she reaches out to my friend saying I haven't talked to me because he's been acting strange. It's been a month now since this happened. She hasn't blocked me, my messages go through, but doesn't respond. What happened?

Hmm that is weird man. My best guess is she got weirded out or turned off by you asking her to call so much after she said she was busy at work. Girls don't always love feeling pressured, ya know?

Even though it was just to explain something, she may have thought you came on too strong by trying to get her to call right away. Then retracting it like that probably seemed passive aggressive. Like you were mad she didn't call right when you asked.

Hiding her status and profile pic shows she's distancing herself for some reason. And telling your friend you were acting strange is her way of warning others without directly confronting you. She wants space it seems.

My advice would be to just back off for now. Don't message her at all - the ball is in her court. If she's interested she'll reach out in her own time. Constantly trying to explain yourself will likely only push her further away.

Give her some breathing room and see what happens. In the future, don't pressure girls so much - play it cooler. This one may be a lost cause, but you'll do better next time!
