Yeah, I think it should be. It shouldn't matter whether they have a cover or not, if the baby needs to drink milk it needs milk. Boobs were made to help produce food for the babies that our bodies give birth to. If people don't like it, then maybe they should make more nursing rooms in public places to help accommodate pregnant women instead of complaining about how they think it's inappropriate. I've seen Victoria Secret, sex toys & playboy attire at the mall and that's way more inappropriate than a woman just feeding her hungry baby on a bench in my opinion.

Most babies are not gonna eat with a cover over their face. That'd be like covering your food and head while eating. It'd be very uncomfortable and weird. There is no reason why mom cannot openly breastfeed especially when it's a baby that cannot wait till they get home because they could literally starve to death/drop weight

@Apple1996 I don't mean a blanket but just a muslin on top, it is a breathable cloth they won't die of heat. I still feel its an excuse. When I fed babies they were hungry and not gonna turn down milk no matter if I covered their face or not. I basically raised my sisters son and I baby sat my little cousins and other babies they all just drank like crazy.
