For me ugly guys are mostly those that have girl mannerism and etc weird. Like very mannered (not sure if it make much sense in English in France we hate mannered people, they look gay and awkward).

I dislike more mannered dude than ugly one, old dude are like 90 % of them unattractive so i don't even care much about just can't stand those that have girl mannerism.

ugly men are much harder on the female eyes than ugly women are on the male eyes

women are just as visual as men but add in the emotional factor and the ability to see more and precise colors than men and you'll get far harsher responses

worst case scenario

- men sees an ugly woman as someone to laugh and make fun of

- women sees an ugly man as a potential creep, predator, rapist, murderer etc.
