Why do women still stick around when they’re no longer interested?

Why do many women, who are no longer interested in a man romantically or sexually, continue to respond to his messages instead of cutting him off immediately? Women often start to distance themselves from a man they're no longer interested in, eventually disappearing altogether. Why can't women be direct and tell the man they're no longer interested, instead of wasting both their time with inconsistent replies? The common justification is that they don't want to hurt his feelings, which I find patronizing and insincere. In fact, it often hurts men more when women are inconsistent.

We’ve put guys in the friend/acquaintance zone because we think that’s where they’ve put us. They’re not being clear enough communicators about what they want. Act like a friend? You get treated like one.

This would be a very good answer but for a question on why ‘nice guys’ get put in the friendzone but question is why do so many girls would still talk to girls even though she lost interested in him after a few dates?

I’d like to add that guys put themselves in the friendzone because a friendship just like any relationship has to be a mutual agreement.

Hypothetically speaking let’s say I was into you but you didn’t feel the same so you’d say we better off being just friends but I could either accept your idea of us being friends or I could refuse to be your friend. I guess I could say girls offer guys to put themselves in the friendzone.

Monkey branching. They are looking for the next man and next relationship. Often women will keep a relationship going that they've no intention of staying loyal in or see no future in because there is a big family wedding/event come up and they don't want to be single for or because the holidays are coming up like Thanksgiving, Christmas, valentines day and Easter. Easter and the 4th of July is maybe not as important as the other days but being single at the start of the summer seems important to women looking a new man because it means holidays with the girls, clubs with the girls and do on searching for a new guy if they haven't already found him.

I heard the term ‘monkey branching’ a few times from dating coaches. Does monkey branching means using that you decide to stick around with the person they’re no longer interested to use as some useful idiot as in talk to them whilst no longer flirting, showing anymore interest putting effort in the messages and slowly distance themselves until they find the next person and once they foind that next person they’d disappear on the person money branches for good?

As women we are very emotional and boys+men don't respect us sometimes so we get hurt often and we don't want to hurt the other person because when we somebody else hurt it tends to hurt us as well and obviously we don't want to hurt anybody else or ourselves cause sometimes it don't be males that hurt us every once in a while it will be ourselves causing the pain on ourselves just so we don't hurt anybody else. The unfortunate reality is that a lot of women fear negative or even violent responses from men that are rejected. So, many women naturally take a more passive role, which is often unintentionally counterintuitive. Further, a lot of women do in fact string men along because they are useful, simps etc, or those men validate them in some way. This is just as much of a reality as women that place men in the friend zone in an effort not to hurt their feelings. So they key is to first acknowledge that not all women that are passive about their intentions w you are doing so intentionally, and second that it doesn't matter why they do. Because women that share your interest will show you that they do. Dont waste time on women that are vague, because regardless of why they are, the ultimate goal as a man is to not be that simp, or guy thats strung along for a girls benefit.
