What’s the point of dating when women don’t take commitment seriously anymore? Women break up and divorce for trivial reasons and for greener pasteur?

Women in the US don’t take comittment seriously whether is dating or marriage. And they’ll leave whenever there is greener pasteurs and it doesn’t matter how attractive u r as a guy. The lead singer of a famous metal band I know got divorced not too long ago by his wife for apparently no real reason and I see his ex wife at this club I go to a lot. The only people I know who have happy lasting marriages are people with low sex drives and even then it’s hit or miss. Divorce rates are still rising and right now they are at 50% and 40% for first time marriages. It’s only reasonable to think they will be higher than that when I’m at divorce age if I were to marry. Is finding a girl who is fun in bed but also suitable for marriage impossible or is it just me? Like being introverted I really like monogamy but all the girls I find that match my sex drive seem like a bad idea for comittment so I don't know what to do. And the casual sex game as a guy takes up a lot of time and effort and isn’t that satisfying in my opinion.

Men divorce women for superficial reasons too and honestly the studies about these divorces are more enlightening than the rates that they occur.
These studies have revealed the four pillars of marriage: money, kids, in-laws and sex. Each pillar covers a variety of questions with much overlap. Couples that haven't addressed these views prior to saying 'I do' recieve the shock of a lifetime after the honeymoon.

Well yeah when you only dating from a pool of women who are mostly interested in fun and sex, statistically your chances of find a good one are really low. Same goes for women who date from that category.

If that's not an option the best thing to do is just wait and keep looking. Everyone grows up in different stages. Maybe you will get lucky and find a girl your age.

Why would I be lucky to find a girl my age? And I’m not waiting til I’m older at that point I’m not seriously dating anyone. I want to start a relationship with a girl when they are the most attractive to me and men widely 18-21 or I don’t want a relationship at all. Cuz I don’t think it’s fair tbh.

By 30 I’ll call it quits I think. I’m 26 now almost 27. Marriage is I don't know a lifelong serious relationship. Not sure how to answer that

The reason I ask is because if you want to get married you gotta know what your signing up for.

Marriage is not easy, I am sure you know that. There's a lot you have to consider if your serious about marriage. Especially young, a lot of women as they age look different once they hit closer to 30. If you decide to have kids a lot will happen to her body. She won't bounce back after birth, she might not be able to exercise during pregnancy and if done wrong she can lose the baby and be in a bad place. She could have complications and she may gain weight. When she gains weight she might look different even her face. She might have a saggy tummy after birth or a permanent scar if she does c-section. She won't have a lot of time to exercise nor would it be safe to for 6 months and she might breast feed which will make her breasts look different even unbalanced.

If you do not have kids then there is the aspect of how you will handle money, birth control, vasectomy, talk about living arrangements if you two could move to other states or want to stay because of family. Then thiers eating habits, sex, if she is fit or just healthy and are you. If you will be emotionally available to her not just sexually, if you will have an open marriage, what if someone gets pregnant STDs.

There is a lot and I mean a lot. Medical situations, chores, cooking, hobbies, dates with each other. How to communicate effectively. Considering each other not just one side. Habits, fantasies, religion. So on.

All this may seem simple but it's not when it creeps up. That's why you have to communicate effectively what you both want before marriage and if the question where to arise and feelings change how would you handle that?

Also women do go through some heavy emotions during pregnancy and can have postpartum depression, you would have to be her rock for quite a while. And be understanding to her hormonal emotions.
