Why would a girl block me after over a year of no contact?

Not much to it, I was talking with a girl for a few months back in late 2022 and we had a mutual friend who kinda ruined it for us. We haven’t spoken since December 2022 and just a month or two ago she blocked me on Snapchat. She had blocked my number March 2023 and then blocked me on tiktok in July. Any explanation?

Hmm that is kinda weird man. A year is a long time to hold a grudge, so it seems like there must be something else going on. A few possibilities I can think of:

- She's dating someone new and doesn't wanna look at old messages/pics from you in case they see. Some girls are paranoid about that.

- Your mutual friend might still be in her ear talking shit about you. Maybe they said something recently that made her wanna cut you off for good.

- Could be she's going through something personal and blocking people is her way of distancing herself right now even if it's old history.

- You might not have realized it, but she may have felt disrespected somehow before you stopped talking and is still holding that against you deep down.

Who knows what girls be thinking sometimes ya know? I'd say just forget about it man, she's made it clear she don't wanna talk. Sucks, but not much you can do at this point except move on. Her loss! Plenty more fish and all that.

Ah I see, well that adds some more context then. If the mutual friend isn't even in contact anymore, then it probably wasn't anything they said that set her off this time. And it makes sense that maybe the breakup with that other guy has her feeling some type of way. Breakups can really mess with your head, even if it was a while ago. As for her randomly being on your mind out of nowhere, don't even stress about that man! That happens to the best of us. Girls have a way of worming their way back into your thoughts whether you want them to or not lol. I'm sure it's just nostalgia or curiosity about what could have been since it's been over a year. Try not to overthink it, easier said than done I know. But it was clearly drama with her back then and probably still is now if she's blocking you out of the blue. You're better off moving on and focusing your energy on chill girls who won't give you the runaround. Easier said than done to not let it bug you though, I get it. Just try to stay busy with the guys and your hobbies so you're not dwelling on it too much. She ain't worth the stress!

Probably just realizing she didn’t have you blocked in the first place then do it right there. I know I’ve done that in the past, went to customize my stories (I would switch between public and private sometimes) and saw someone I don’t want to interact with my posts so I block or delete them. Definitely with men who I didn’t want to contact me.

Also, you should move on from this if it happened last July that’s nearly a year ago and you’re asking as if this just happened. You shouldn’t do that, it’s weird.
