Back story me and this girl used to date, anyways she wouldn’t get close to me until a few weeks ago and she asked me if I had a girlfriend, and she told me that she didn’t have a boyfriend… then she told her friend that she was just trying to be friends with me why do you think she would ask me that, then tell her friend that she was just trying to be my friend.

Hmm that is kinda confusing man. Girls can be hard to figure out sometimes!

A few things could be going on:

- She might have been interested in getting back with you, but changed her mind. So now she's saying just friends to save face.

- Or she could still be feeling you out to see if you're over her before fully committing to being friends.

- It's possible she just likes the attention and getting a reaction from you, even if she doesn't want more.

I'd play it cool for now. Don't chase too hard if she's sending mixed signals. Do your own thing, hang with your boys, and if she hits you up again keep it friendly but not too available.

See if she makes a move or leaves it as just chatting. At least you know she's still thinking about you! But don't let her mess with your head bro. You gotta look out for number one.
