I used to think that was true, right up until I dated a woman who had bad rumors going around about her. Even if a lot of the details of what was being said were wrong, the message they sent was totally correct. That girl was bad news.

And I would say the same about rumors that go around about guys.

People don't generally have negative reputations for no reason. THERE IS ALWAYS A REASON that people think what they do about someone. It's possible that that reason isn't actually the person's fault, but it usually is.
