I proposed to my girlfriend and she accepted but she kept a strange condition - that I should keep my head shaven. Why would that be? is it normal?

An update: I did ask her. She says she loves the feel when caressing my head during private moments. I did notice she used to do it before but did not pay much attention to it. It was a request so option is mine. by the way I did shave and my barberette said I looked cute and could consider retaining that look. I probably will

No that isn't normal at all. No one should tell you how to look or keep your hair. That is no different than anything else. There shouldn't be any conditions like that to your marriage. She can have that preference and you can decide to indulge her by keeping your head shaven or you don't have to. A partner that would force someone to look a certain way even if they didn't isn't a good partner and certainly not someone I would marry. What other conditions will she come up with in the future and hold over your shaven head? Huh? Yeah so tell her no unless that is what YOU want because it should not be up to her just as much as you telling her how she should wear her hair or groom herself in any way.

No one should tell you how you do your hair / dress. Don’t just be shaven just to appease her and her needs.
