Why is it that girls are allowed to have as much attention on them as they like, but, if a guy gets attention from more than one girl, it's not

Um... It's NOT ok for either the guy or the girl to be flooded with attention by the opposite sex (that the person actually responds to) if you're in a committed relationship. For instance, I have a lot of guy friends, and work with a lot of guys, etc. etc. While that could be misunderstood as "having a lot of male attention" ... I make it very clear up front to my guy that he's the only one who stands out for me. Those other guys don't get *MY* attention, so there's nothing to worry about. I'd presume the same for my guy as well. If he's not paying attention to other women in that way, then what would I be worried about?
It boils down to trusting the person that you're choosing to be with -- you're CHOOSING that person to lavish YOUR attention on, and she should be doing the same. It doesn't mean either of you needs to give up your friends or your poker night or anything like that. Makes sense?
Anybody can have as much attention as they want and can attract, but if you’re in a relationship it’s not good to encourage attention from others, no matter what gender you are.
I never said "while in a relationship", i just said, "attention"
If you’re single you can have as much attention as you want and can attract without feeling guilty about it. Again, doesn’t matter what gender you are.
So why does it change if you're single or in a relationship. You're not owned
It doesn’t change. You can’t stop people from giving you attention when you’re in a relationship, but you shouldn’t encourage it. Again, it’s not a gender thing.
So why do people cheat then
Because they can and they’re horny and they like the attention. People can always cheat if they can find someone to do it with. They just shouldn’t, in my opinion.
But you shouldn't just assume they will, just cause they're getting attention elsewhere
Of course not! It’s not your fault if people give you attention. But you shouldn’t encourage it and you definitely shouldn’t cheat.
What double standard?
The majority of women want less attention and the majority of men want more attention.
The "chads" who get a lot of attention... ok?
