What do guys think of girls that like to travel a lot?

I like traveling. I did quite a bit on my own. I also went on some long backpacking trips with friends.

I went on some two to five day trips with girlfriends and had amazing times.

My wife and I have been married for almost 28 years. When we both worked, we took some pretty cool vacations over the years. Some for two weeks to foreign countries and faraway places in the U. S. like Hawaii and New England (we live in California); some week-long trips in the U. S.; some three day trips to places in California; some weekend trips to resorts; some camping trips. We've traveled quite a bit.

Now that I'm retired and she is semi-retired, we have responsibilities around our home and property, but we still like to travel.

Last summer, we went to Eureka and Arcata, stayed in a lovely B&B, explored the Avenue of the Giants, the northern California coast, and some historic towns I had never been to.

I'm glad she likes to travel. It's fun doing things together.

Forgive me for thinking this is all about making other chicks jealous.

Alright... now you're asking me what I think... I think it's all dumb. I don't care if she's in Paris or Rome. There is no purpose or reason why that should matter to me unless she's flashing a tiddy.

Travel all you want... I just see a chick wasting money on bullshit. Nothing gained except other jealous women.

It's shit that impresses women... not men or me.

You asked a question, that's my honest answer about what I think. I'm a dude and I could care less about women traveling... I just see a woman wasting money and trying to make other women jealous. I honestly think only women care about her food plate in some bullshit place that I don't care about.

Like anything... that will depend on the guy. If he is someone that likes to stay put and not really venture to other places and travel he isn't going to do well with a girl that travels a lot. That is just common sense. If he is a guy that is well traveled and has been to a lot of places then he likely isn't going to have much of an issue with a girl that travels because that is his style. It will also depend on what the girl is traveling for. Is it work or pleasure. Does she invite the guy along if they are together or doing girl trips. Again some guys won't care no matter the reason she travels and others will. I don't care if my partner travels or goes on a group trip for pleasure and I can't go. That is because I trust her.

I wouldn't like it if she wants to travel all the time. I travel almost every week for work, so I like my time at home. Thankfully, my wife feels the same way. When we first became a couple, she was constantly going here and there, because her parents were divorced and both lived hrs away, so it was a lot of traveling, especially during holidays but when we had our first daughter, it changed and I think it was a relief for her. Now, her parents visit us.

It depends but I like to travel with a purpose. I don't want to go somewhere just because it's cool, I want to live somewhere that I think is cool.

I'm also a history nerd so I want to go to places where I can learn things
