I travel solo, just finished a trip to vegas and california myself.
It would be pretty rash of me to think that women couldn't do the same, I've ran into many solo female trip enthusiast, kind of fun to meet them actually, always a fun story to be heard.
Do keep your wits about you though, there are many dangers out there whether your a man or woman.
---------------------------
My rules when traveling, and many have worked for me, they apply to both sexes.
------------------------------
Use a chained wallet/purse always keep your important documents and cards/cash attached to your body.
Always keep you back to the wall/cover (make it as feasibly impossible for anything to come up behind you). When sitting down to eat, stay as close to the door as possible for a quick exit for a multitude of reasons, fire/gunfight/robbery/etc etc.
Plan out your moves as you make them (you can wing it), just be aware of your surroundings stairs/sidewalks/buildings/trees etc, never stay in an area for more than 20 minutes/stay moving and move quickly walk running style, shy of eating, this makes it hard for others to tail or predict you movement, I've shooken a lot of would be pick pockets by doing this.
If you can't keep you're back to a wall, always be aware of what's behind you, that person you think is just walking behind you, might be up to something. If your gut/you notice someone oddly following you, change your pace speedup/slowdown/stop safely and reasonably of course.
If you notice there pace changes to match yours, lose them asap by any means possible, just don't corner yourself (be aware of your surroundings).
This is only a worst case scenario if it's just you and them with no one else around, Pickpockets work in large crowds to camouflage themselves, people with other motivations will tail you until there is no one else around then pounce.
B line it back to your vehicle, use the crowds to try to dissapear (good news for short people), if you can't hide in a crowd use the local stores/places of business.
Remember your vehicle can become a weapon. Pepper spray and mace is always a nice thing to have as well, just check your local laws on the concentration amount your allowed to legally carry, part of the (plan out your moves) part.
Never carry more than 25 bucks in cash, always carry at least 1 plastic card be it debit or credit, and at least 2 cellphones and a back up charger (both phones should be fully charged no matter what), keep one of the phones hidden, so you have another if something happens to the other. Not only for emergencies but so you can cancel the card asap if something happens to it.
Being alone is a catch 22, although when you know your (100% beyond a shadow of a doubt alone), this is actually safe and you can drop you're guard. However if you think your alone, but just don't quite, (hmmmm, "I think I'm alone, wait wtf was that noise?" ) Just gtfo out of there.

Any one can travel solo if they keep there wits about them.

What I think is that they are probably going to disappear, either raped and murdered or abducted and forced into sex slavery.
The stupidity of young women, especially young white women, who travel alone, especially in the Third World, is beyond words.

It requires caution and skill and safety precautions but as long as your not in a bad neighbourhood or at a night club in an isolated city in the third world, you should be fine. I feel I do not enjoy vacations that do not require collective grouping, like when I went on school excursions to the zoo or the opera alone and did not enjoy it as much as I did when I was vacationing with family or extended family or family friends.
To travel can be good.
Travelling for sex, so you can hide you always wanted to give it away easily just had people talk behind your back - backfires.
You get used to getting fucked quickly, then can't decide to go back to your usual life, nor can you keep travelling

In the U. S. and most of Europe this is fine. Anywhere else in the world and it is extremely stupid to travel alone, man or woman. There are still many countries in the world (especially in the Middle East and parts of Asia) where a woman travelling alone is very suspicious and sometimes even illegal. Those same countries have a huge level of violence that makes it crazy even for a man to travel alone. And don't even get me started on Africa or South America. Travelling alone is not some great feat for a woman.
It’s great but safety is a major thing when solo travelling for guys and girls, especially girls.
make use of social media and that stuff loads live to say facebook
A friend of mine does things like
a quick photo of me, Juan, Derek, Clive, John, all going to Tall Trees Club
then posts it to her Facebook etc.
it’s a live shot, she’s named the fuckers and they are in camera at that time and date.
I love travelling and have done loads on my own.
there are some really good things to do, and I did post a checklist a few months back..
A weapon that is airport security friendly is a must.
lots of pre loaded credit cards, with different currency types.
prepare for the worst really.Without knowing these girls, their head is probably on a swivel AND they can handle themselves. Take for example, I would wager the average dude in the slums of Chicago might try to attack Kyra or Victoria Gracie but my money would be on the ladies (especially Kyra) because both of those girls grew up in the family that founded Brazilian Jujitsu. Their grandfather brought it to the States after learning the craft in Japan.
Those ladies command respect but I bet they pay attention to where they go, even in streets of Brazil, their home country. It’s f*cking dangerous, especially in some parts of the East. A nice innocent guy you met might actually be planning on raping you. Or kidnap you, force you into prostitution, sell you, own you, torture you, kill you...
Some people don’t know the world and it shows. Always travel with a man (they can be intimidated by that and look for an “easier” target) and don’t trust strangers. Never let them take you anywhere where there’s no escape route, no matter how nice they may seem.
If you do decide to travel alone, please be careful. Trusting one wrong person can possibly turn your whole life to sh*t.My personal experience is i loved the quiet but every where i went i was hit on!! This was at myrtle beach. I was 31? I don't think i will do it again and will not encourage my daughters to do it either. I just had the feeling so many guys were trying to get with me if you know what i mean and it was super awkward.
Great experience. I backed-packed by myself and have traveled to numerous countries on my own. It's a wonderful experience that everyone should try regardless of gender. However, if you're a lady you must be careful about your surroundings and to have certain street smarts, though that should be common amongst traveller's. Like I said, everyone should try solo traveling it's great fun!
I think of people doing solo travelling. I can't be bothered if these people have ovaries or testicles, they're all travelers... Why would it be different if it's a man or a woman? Some area's of planet earth are less safe, better avoid these. Just be a well prepared and careful traveller, that's all, some risks are related to your gender, no need to deny that, but that would not change a thing about so many other things still worth visiting.
Nothing wrong with that, aside from safety concerns of being a lone female. If a woman is confident in her ability to stay out of trouble, I say go for it. It's her choice.
I've traveled alone several times and had a great time.
What you ask what I "think" of girls who do solo traveling, do you mean would I suspect them of doing anything sexual during their travels? Because I wouldn't give a fuck what adventures they engaged in. She's the one who will have to live with the consequence of catching a disease. But, aside from that, if her adventures include thrilling romance, I think it's great. Life is for living. She'll always have the memories of her adventure.Definitely risky, but I admire their confidence to do what they want. Shows that they have strong desires and qualities that can potentially be used in a workplace.
Solo travel is probably the best form to find out who you are and what your strengths and weaknesses are.Well I would admire her and I think she has a strong adventure will and brave enough to travel alone.
Personally I also do solo travelling a lot and sometimes I also wonder if there's another girl like me as I would like she to become my partner in adventure.I mean it is not big deal to travel around alone in Europe if you are european citizen since it easy to travel around Europe but you should be still careful but travellling alone in third world countries can be dangerous. Some european women were raped in dubai and were arrested. So be careful
Wow, a lot of people scared of the world out there xD
I travelled alone several times, mostly as an extension of a business trip.. I was never in a vulnerable position, very easy to avoid by not going to an isolated place at night, and of course avoid any known bad neighbourhood. And yeah, not without a guide in some countries where females are second grade and don't have authority without a man. But I want to avoid those countries anyway.I think they're brave and free-spirited, but depends where they go I guess. Some places are relatively safe, some are downright dangerous. Personally, I wouldn't do it, but if I ever needed to (travel for work, etc.) I would be extra cautious. Make sure people back home know where I'm staying, carry something that can be used as a weapon, not wander around dark or deserted areas, etc.
They are just out looking for sexual adventures.
OK, that is what I had hoped. But seriously, I have met a lot of girls traveling alone, since that is how I generally travel, and most have a great time with no major problems. A friend of mine traveled all over South America some years back and she managed to get back in one piece.
I would wait a year or so for foreign travel now, though, due to covid. It's very alluring but it really isn't the best idea. Women are absolutely capable but they are more vulnerable. Fact.
I've travelled alone extensively and no longer so. Way better idea flanked with a capable male. That’s really cool, but I always think it’s better to travel with friends. Travelling alone can be SERIOUSLY dangerous. A friend of a friend got raped while travelling abroad and had no one to help her.
I've travelled numerous times alone, I've had some good adventures. It can be empowering but stay safe ladies. Always have someone with you.
Its not safe. Hundreds of thousands of girls disappear daily. Every 3 sec someone disappers, kidnapped. Most are murdered. Millions of rapists who murder their victims are looking for loners. Gangs.. Cartels. I've seen to many missing persons crime shows. Thousands over the years. Its not safe just to walk down road now a days, traveling alone?
First assumption is that they are a slut. Meeting a new man in every location. Too many women have done this to shake it and ruined it for the rest of y'all. Ofc not all not all not all but if many do this, we have to assume it.
I have traveled alone but.. not in a sensitive country. The stories you hear and the perception of women in certain cultures is scary.
