Girls, If a guy so much as looks at you, do you immediately think he's interested?

Ladies, if a guy smiles in passing or says "hi" or asks you anything random, do you IMMEDIATELY think he's got the hots for you, regardless of any possible factors (including age, culture, and other contextual details)? Why or why not?

(I won't ask if you think he's interested in you if he asks for directions, bc that WOULD actually be a sign of interest. Guys NEVER... EVER want to ask for directions...)

Maybe. Context determines if he's into me. If he talks to me he's possibly interested.

Nah, if he's just looking briefly it's no big deal. Even if he asks about something random it's not necessarily a sign of interest at all.

Agreed that guys never actually want to ask for direction lol, but friendly people exist and a glance is completely different than coming on to someone. Even if the dude was blatantly staring, that's not a guarantee, especially depending on the context. I don't think I've ever met someone delusional enough to think like this lol.

You’d be surprised. A lot of girls see a guy looking and get on some kind of high horse about it instead of just staying humble. I don't know why.

I never assume someone is interested in me until they make it clear like sure signs. For example I love my boyfriend would never cheat on him and honestly no one is as attractive to me as he is, but I had some guy stop me as I walking and was just asking me questions about myself even though the questions usually mean a guy is interested in me he said he wanted to be friends so I took it as that. But I also made it clear I had a boyfriend and he ask if he treats me right and I said yeah and he said my boyfriend better bc I have a rlly cute face, I still didn’t think much of it until he called me and was saying how my voice turns him on and asked me what color my panties were bc you don’t say those things to a girl you’re friends with so I just blocked him without explanation and told my boyfriend

Depends on how big of a smile, what type of smile, how much they say, what they say, how they speak, body language. Are they only communicating cause it's necessary, are they trying to make the conversation linger? A lot of factors.
