Guy's Behavior

If a guy stares at you every time you walk past each other is he interested or think you're attractive?

We hadn't met yet but had lots of mutual friends, but he would stare at me every time we passed each other on campus, which was pretty often. I would only glance, but he would stare from when I first came into view up until we passed each other. We finally were introduced at the end of the semester but we didn't get to have a conversation. He adds me on Facebook a few days later. Funny thing is, he doesn't add my friend who was with me when we were introduced even though he's met her multiple times and had a conversation with her. Is he interested in me? And yes I am interested in him.

Oh also at the party where we met when he first got there he stopped to talk to the girl next to me (we were in the middle of playing corn hole) and even though he was talking to her, he kept glancing over at me.

He was also smiling a lot and looking at me as he walked up to the party. He was by himself.
