321 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. depends on the girl. some just use a cleanser, a moisturizer, and a lipbalm. other will have like dozens of diff products
me (if i'm not lazy) i use about 5 stuff in the morning (micellar water, vitamin c serum, redness cream, moisturizer and lipbalm. you can add sunscreen if i go out too and sometimes body lotion & bi-oil but i'm really bad with not being lazy to do it), and 8 at night (cleanser, micellar water, retinol serum, retinol eye cream, redness cream, moisturizer, lipbalm. i could also add bod lotion at times and bi-oil). some days can be more if you count weekly or bi weekly treatments, like exfoliation face scrub, face masks, pore strips. i usually do them the same day, so some times it can be a lot lol. though i'm often lazy so i might skip on some steps...
i dont really use stuff out of the shower for my hair (and really it's just shampoo and after shampoo). also shower wise i have an exfoliating shower gel for my body, and a normal shower gel, i alternate them.
if we're counting makeup though it can really vary. some days it can just be eyebrow mascara, concealer, lipgloss & setting spray. other days it's concealer, foundation, eyebrow pencil & brow mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, lipliner, lipstick, gloss, blush, setting powder, setting spray.

Asker+1 yIs this why women take really long to get ready?

+1 yMost of these are very affordable, but there are one or two I splurge on because they are so effective. Here goes [drum roll]:
Face and Neck
Cleansing - Micellar water
Nighttime:

Clearing Serum for breakout prevention Skincare

Moisturizer
Sunscreen Hair
Shampoo and conditioner - Avalon Organics
Hair Styling

Heat protectant
Volume spray I'll spare you the makeup list. :D I'll do a basic brow and tinted lip gloss daily, but I have products for dress up occasions (primer, foundation, concealer, roll-on blush, mascara, etc.). I use it sparingly and do it very softly to enhance, not hide behind.
Overwhelmed yet? I can get started on maintenance and techniques if you want... :D

Asker+1 yIts wild how everyone has their go to list tho lol

@ChicoFromThe305 Yeah. It takes a long time of trial and error to find products that work for our own individual needs. I went through a natural, homemade product phase, but the reality is that they just aren't effective for some things and some people. This list is the most minimalist I can personally get, and that's saying something, because I don't like a lot of stuff cluttering the bathroom! :D
Asker+1 yThen that means you must throw away what does work even if it's full? π
- +1 y
@ChicoFromThe305 Whadda ya mean, bro? :D
Asker+1 yYou said you don't like a crowded bathroom so I assumed the fate of all the products that don't work is the trash π
- +1 y
@ChicoFromThe305 Recycle. :)
And now that I've figured out what works, I use it all. :D
Asker+1 yYou can recycle creams and stuff?
Asker+1 yI guess we truly learn something new everyday ha
- +1 y
Sorry, sent before I was finished. Ulta Beauty works in collaboration with Pact to take back empties.
Asker+1 yDo they take back fulls?
- +1 y
No, have to be cleaned out. :(
Asker+1 yDamn so you gotta use the product first
- +1 y
Not if my skin is reacting! :) Some people use face care products on their feet if they don't work on their face, LOL. I guess that's one way to get your money's worth, ha! :D
Asker+1 yThat's a good idea I guess, but does it work for their feet cause why would anyone expect it too if it didn't work for the face ha
1K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. First i wash my face with a face wash cleanser containing peeling corns. Something like this is at the same time a cleanser and a scrub.

Then after washing it off I mix together Sunscreen 50 SPF (UVA+UVB) + Moisturizing Body Lotion + Serum in my hands and apply it all over my face. Something like this but in a bigger 250ml+ container, not a little 50ml container.

If I took a shower, I apply those all over my body.
It basically comes down to 3 easy steps to remember: (1) wet your face/body and apply cleanser + scrub (you can also wash with soap or face wash beforehand) (2) wash it off (3) apply Sunscreen, Body Lotion and Serum.

+1 yFirst I cleanse

My current favorite cleanser Then an acne scar treatment

pricy for 10ml but pretty good long term for dark spots
Then a moisturizer

The best moisturizer last but not least and most important SUNSCREEENNN

Love this since no white cast this might change in the next several months but the concept is pretty much the same.

Itβs important. What if you needed a new sunscreen option because the one youβre using now doesnβt have good spf and it flakes after a while π
Asker+1 yI dont think there's any way I could know that this stuff could flake π
685 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. On days that I wear makeup, I remove my makeup with micellar water, then I wash my face with a facial cleansing bar and cold water. Then I apply cold cream, leave it on my face for a few minutes, wipe it off with a warm wash cloth, and then wet my face with cold water one more time.
That's part of my usual nighttime routine (except when I don't wear makeup, then I won't use micellar water). I usually don't do much in the morning, other than wash my face and brush my teeth, obviously. Although, I did recently start using an anti-frizz serum for my hair because my hair has been disgustingly frizzy lately, but it doesn't seem to work that well on my freshly washed hair, which is when I need it to work the most. 😭
I used to also use facial mist, but I haven't bought any in a while because I'm not sure if it actually does anything. 😂15 Reply
Asker+1 yBella has a whole book on a face cleanse routine and she hides her face, that's crazy π
Asker+1 yIt must be cause your face is so shiny it was causing blindness π
Asker+1 yLol.
I wash my face with a mixture of warm water and Garnier Skin Actuve Cleansing Milk before applying my favourite moisturiser. However, I've found that people who use a lot of products often experience skin issues that none of them can solve. Some of the products seem to make it worse, in my opinion.

Asker+1 yIt seems like you know you skin stuff
Asker+1 yYou seem to know the real from the fake tho, so to a point you know what you are doing ha
Asker+1 yDont they lie about that?
+1 yI don't have a lot of skincare routine, but I have a long shower routine. 😂 I like trying different soaps and hair products. Sometimes I take 30 minutes or more in the shower, from conditioning hair to exfoliating my body.
For skincare, after shower I just put on lotion or sunflower oil on body. Then use toner, serum, and sunscreen on face. 😊

Asker+1 yThat's still probably more than most people apply to their skin ha, what type of hair do you have tho? Cause if you have that strong thick kind I think it has more options when it comes to hair products
I have 3 drawer pulls of skincare, and I know it's ridiculous! I used to think I needed to put all these different things on my face. Now, I only put 3 things. Witchazel, (sometimes serum, aloe vera), lotion and a delicious scented vanilla shimmer oil

Just a regular routine β¦
I have a very structured life n like to get things done. I donβt like to waste time.
I wash my face with a good cleanser. Then I start adding the products lol. I start with the light serums. Retinol, vitamin c... then I put a good moisturizer and then finally sunscreen.

6.1K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. I wear face cream whenever I remember it, which ain't a regular thing, because I can't stick to a routine. I also use body cream whenever I remember it. For me it is not steady at all and not on a daily basis, it is more like: "whenever I remember it" basis. The only thing that is steady in my routine regarding taking care of myself is exercise and shower.
08 Reply- +1 y
Oh as for hair just shampoo and conditioner and not daily since I avoid using my hair daily. Sometimes I make homemade masks for hair like perhaps once a week.
Sometimes I also use sunscreen, while other times I completely forget. So yeah there is no specific number of products because I never keep track of it, most of days is none and I don't have a routine. If you asked me how many hours per day I exercise the answer would have been less confusing. π
Asker+1 ySo you just be winging it, this surely sounds like you tho, caring for your skin but not as a habit, now the real question is did you apply anything to your skin after reading and answering this question? π
Asker+1 yLmao that guess was just too perfect π
Account is just winging all of existence
Asker+1 ySo you just have all this stuff laying around and when you remember you apply it? I'm sure it's cause you have plenty of other stuff to stress about ha

My skin is clear, no acne, I donβt wear make up except mascara.
I know nothing of make up but maybe those females do that because of the layers of makeup they put on12 Reply

Oki, so I start by washing my face with a cleanser suitable for my skin. Then after that I apply serums and creams, depending on the day. Each one has its own day. In the morning I use sunscreen, but at night I donβt. π
Asker+1 yIs that why your face be pretty shiny?
