Women what are your skincare routines?

Us men just wash our skin with water and soap and that's good enough, well for the most part and women have full routines, where they have all these brands and stuff and different essentials and stuff that makes their skin look like they are made of porcelain, but now I wonder, if women use the same stuff or if they all have their own skin fluffin strategies lol

Water. When I feel fancy then that exfoliating ayurvedic coconut body wash + shampoo which I rarely use because it burns but it really does clean my skin, i dont put it on my head though cuz it somehow brings out pimples on my scalp. And then i apply the wild saffron oil (kumkumadi tailam) on my face, makes me feel warm and nice.

But generally it is just water. I do this bullshit sometimes when my skin feels dry or in general off. My face is quite strong and I never had the acne problem except whiteheads on nose and under lower lip even in my peak teenage.

Wash with face clothe. Most of the time without any soap… soap can also include shampoo… they are all the same stuff… I don’t need 20 million products… all marketing….

I am aging gracefully… all is well… it’s my heart that matters.
my diet of course… keeps me young, healthy, my attitude keeps me fun, youthful.
Most of the time I don’t even brush my hair.

sleep well, eat well, no stress that last and yes… don’t use moisturizer… maybe sometimes for fun… I just don’t like to waste time like other women who takes an hr or 2 to get ready.

Sometimes I catch the train early in the morning, and usually there are 2 or 3 females that mesmerize me putting on their makeup, and going through their morning routines.

I was fascinated with what looked like scissors with a strange end on them, what were they doing with them?

Anyway I had to find out, and apparently they are used to curl their eyelashes 😄

Most women tweak things to their own skin, but the basic idea is usually similar: cleanse, treat, moisturize, protect. Morning is often gentle cleanser, vitamin C or another antioxidant, moisturizer, then sunscreen. Night is cleanser, maybe exfoliant or retinol a few times a week, then a richer moisturizer.

Brands differ, steps are adapted, but that core structure is the common theme.

morning - reg water or micellar water on a cotton circle, vitamin c serum or salicylic acid serum, vitamin c eye cream, antioxydant day cream, lip vaseline. put body lotion on my neck and chest. i take supplements for my skin as well

sometimes will use a face mask instead of serum

night - most days just micellar water or cleanser to wash my face, then anti-aging night cream. once or twice a week, i'll do retinol serum and retinol eyecream before waiting a while before applying the night cream. then lip vaseline. when i'm not lazy i'll put body lotion on my entire body.

sometimes if i'll put pimple patchs or put vaseline on some parts of my face overnight.

I wash my face with a dove bar soap, then I use a skin moisturizer because my skin is very dry, and I try to use sunscreen, but I rarely remember to use it. 😭

I try to keep it simple. Usually just a good cleanser + moisturizer. Depending on the day and what I plan to do I might go for one with SPF.
