My drunk friend attacked me (blood everywhere) and left me in the street. I feel guilty I pressed charges. Should i?

She burst my nose open … I don’t remember as I had a concussion but authorities said she dragged me by the hair and beat me up, she did this another time too given me a black eye ….. but that time she claims I pulled

her hair each time though she left me for dead.
