Why is that women are more selfish than men?

Are we? In what way? I think men are more about "self care" which could be classed as selfish. Or even admired. They choose career over the happiness or wellbeing of others. Women usually have to sacrifice theirs. Men choose mates over their partner for their "men's time" or to watch sports. Women usually have to drop going out or get accused of cheating.

Women who do try to self care - by being healthy, getting hair done, facials, treat themselves to nice things, make time for themselves or friends over partner - get called selfish!

Women are expected yo give give give or be called selfish!

I’m not sure in comparison to one another that women are usually more selfish than men. I think it’s possible it’s about the same. But I will say that the women I’ve dealt w yes seem to all be more selfish. It’s kind of the same for my brothers. Especially my one brother who’s girl just won’t let him see his kids even though he’s always there when she needs to dump them off cause she wants to go out or something. But complains he never helps. I know I went through something similar, but in all honesty I was always there. Still am to this day. Which surprising who’s re the kids w now? Me or her? Take a guess. Yes me. She’s still off partying at age 40, drinking like she’s a teenager. I tend to think women put their feelings, their happiness over everything else. Well let me retract, the women I was w or dated do that. Can’t say the same for every female on this planet but it sure does seem like it. Plus I think women’s emotions tend to play a big role in this.

Because they deserve to be more selfish. Most of them aren't selfish enough, in my opinion.

Women aren't more selfish. We acutally have empathy unlikely most men and we make a lot more sacrifices than men do. I acutally find it sickening how many men live in their own little bubble and can't see past themselves. There was a question here the other day and the blue anonymous was ranting on about how he'd never give up his seat for a pregnant woman 🙄

@dolemite58 a woman could be pregnant and disabled at the same time 😂 also women get pregnant all the time from ivf. She might not even have had her legs open for anyone besides a doctor lol

Are they? I find most people selfish, at least in some ways, and am not certain that one gender has a corner on it.
