How would you act/react if you saw your boyfriend holding another girl but when you looked closer you saw she was crying?

Tbh depending on how he is holding her. If he is holding her as they are a couple. I would feel some kind of way which I'll would be mad. And may break up with them. Especially if I have a guy feeling that something isn't right. Now if the person was to pay or rub their upper back as to comfort. I wouldn't be mad. But if he is hugging them... I would feel a little jealous. And kinda worried because that's how cheating happens. Or the "victim" who is crying may feel very vulnerable to kiss them and do more stuff to them. I would feel some kind of way tbh. I'm very understanding individual. But some people are pretty friendly. They would hug almost anyone who may feel vulnerable. Even if they have a partner. Personally when I was dating my toxic ex at that time. I had been in a situation of where a guy wanted to be comfort by me. But I didn't hug them because I didn't want them to think I'm trying to come on to them. But I did pat their back. But I told them I can't hug them because it didn't feel right. Even though I was never sexually attracted that person. I felt it wasn't appropriate for me to do so as a individual that is taken.

The times I’ve seen my man hugging a woman it was either a relative or a friend he considered a little sister. In these cases a hug is very solid, but short, not lingering.


A lingering hug means something’s up. A protective embrace is something a guy reserves for those he instinctively cares most about. It’s not necessarily sexual, but it’s something he doesn’t just give away. So if he’s hugging this girl (regardless of her tear duct status), it means he cares for her a lot.
