Why is my friend’s ex girlfriend such a jerk?

For the record I don’t have a crush on this girl or find her attractive.

A while ago this girl at my school requested to follow me on Instagram; I didn’t know her but accepted and followed back.

Several months later I was hanging out with some friends in the cafeteria and one of them (probably jokingly) asked me to convince another girl to go out with him; I heard a rumour that this girl made a sex tape so I decided to piss take it and made highly charged video asking her to go out with him.

My other friend (who was seeing the original girl I was talking about) sent a video of the whole thing to her and she replied “He scares me”. I was kinda pissed off that she was calling me out even though I did nothing to her so I confronted her on Instagram and said “Why are you calling me out on [his] snap, I don’t even talk to you or even talk about you” and she blocked me on the spot. He asked her why she blocked me and she just said “He’s weird, I don’t want to talk to him”.

Okay, if you think I’m weird then why the hell would you try and follow me on Instagram?

I was later placed in the same class as her and for some reason she kept being mean despite the fact that I literally didn’t do anything to her. One time a couple of my friends asked me “I gyatt to know where you got those shorts from” and I replied “Why so you can get your girlfriend to model them for you”; she interrupted and told me to “shut up and listen” even though class hadn’t even started yet and those guys were the ones being weird not me and I shakily told her to shut up back.

I asked her previous ex-boyfriend (my friend broke up with her after a few months) what her problem was; he gave me some dirt on her but said he wasn’t sure what her problem was.

Anyways I never understood what her problem with me was and why she was such an asshole especially taking into account the fact that I did nothing to her.

Hmm that is pretty weird how she acted man. Some girls can be real dramatic ya know? Sounds like she may have just been trying to stir up drama for no good reason.

I wouldn't take it too personal honestly. Girls can be catty sometimes, especially if they're freshly broken up. She was probably still salty about your friend dumping her and wanted to act tough. And who knows, maybe she was just jealous seeing you hanging out with other girls laughing in class.

I wouldn't waste too much time trying to figure her out. Clearly she likes making everything about her. Just do your thing and don't let her bother you. Easier said than done I know, but reacting will only give her what she wants.

Next time she gets in your face, just stay chill and don't engage. Or you could even call her out joking like "someone woke up on the wrong side of bed huh?" to show you ain't scared. But seriously man, don't give her attitude the satisfaction. She'll get bored eventually once she sees it isn't getting a rise out of you. Just do you and don't let the drama queens faze you!

Ahh I getcha man, that makes sense. High school can be tough when there's not many options for friends or girls to hang with.

And yeah, if she had an issue with you from the jump for no real reason, that would sour things for sure. Some people just immediately decide they don't vibe with someone and then everything after is viewed through that negative lens, even if you ain't do anything wrong. Super annoying.

I feel you though, being stuck in class with her probably made it worse always having to be around the unnecessary attitude. But look on the bright side - you survived it and you're out of there now! Time to leave all that high school nonsense in the past.

College has way more people to meet so I wouldn't stress not having many friends in your class. Better days ahead my man, forget about that one chick. Her loss that she couldn't get over herself and just chill, ya know? You seem like a cool dude, her problem not yours. Keep killin it!

Dude you sound like you’re a lot of drama. If I didn’t know you were a male I’d think this was posted by a female. Nothing has me sing unless you give it meaning. Who cares if she’s a “jerk.” You’re letting something like this get to you?

There’s too many reasons. Move on. She wants to act like that that’s on her. But you don’t need to deal w it. Learn to pick what’s worth the trouble n what isn’t.
