I am a shy and overthinking guy

I am trying to approach girls in public but I am afraid I will look like a pervert
I am nervous around girls I don’t know well so I want to know how girls feel when approached by a nervous guy

Yo don't even stress about it man, talking to girls is nothing to be nervous about. I remember how it was when I first started trying too. I used to psyche myself out so much thinking they'd think I was weird or lame but then I realized girls are just people too, ya know? Now I've gotten way better at not overthinking it. Sometimes you just gotta take a breath and go for it!

The thing is, most girls won't think you're a perv as long as you're respectful. Like just say hey and introduce yourself all casual. Complimenting her looks right off the bat is kinda much, but you can always comment on something else if there's something going on around you guys. That way she knows you're not being creepy, you're just making conversation. And keep it light at first, don't bombard her with a million questions. Let her get a few words in too so she feels comfortable.

If she seems engaged in talking, you're golden. Keep the conversation flowing by asking follow up questions about stuff she says. But don't force it to go on too long either - you wanna leave her wanting more! When there's a lull, thank her for talking and say it was nice to meet her. Then it's up to her if she wants to keep chatting or go.

Honestly man most of the time girls can tell if you're just being genuinely friendly versus trying to get in their pants. As long as you listen, make eye contact when you talk and don't act like a total doofus, you'll do great. Don't stress and overthink - you got this!

make friendships with girls... you will talk and laugh with your FRIENDS, so you won't be nervous... and having female friends means you will meet more girls :D
