Girls, why do so many men on social media angrily defend creeps and rapists?

For example, they lash out at women in the YouTube comment section, call them "foids," and that the creeps' behavior towards the female victims are warranted.

It's mostly young American men too.

Because they can without repercussions just like I see so many people on here do the same. Because to is going to happen to them? Are you going to reach through their screen and slap them? The internet not only allows people to say things they wouldn't in person or face to face with someone it also allows varying degrees of anonymity so they feel emboldened to bitch about things. It's often because their own pathetic lives are so miserable they want who they perceive are at fault to feel bad. Just look on here and the group of woman haters that spend hours complaining and putting down women every day. It is sad and pathetic. It isn't just men that do it tho. There are plenty of nasty women at fault for the same or similar things. People can just be miserable and the internet is an outlet and megaphone for it.
